12 Powerful Purpose-Achieving Statements
Strengthen Your Faith, Prepare Your Mind for Action Using These 12 Scriptures and Statements
God’s words are incredibly powerful in shaping and strengthening our souls. In James 3:3-6, Scripture compares our words to the bridle in a horse’s mouth, the rudder of a ship, and a spark that can ignite a forest fire. Just as these small things steer large forces, our words can significantly impact our lives. Jesus Himself said that words spoken in faith can move mountains (Mark 11:23).
As sincere followers of Jesus, we all desire to live out God’s plans and purposes for our lives. God's will for us is to live a purposeful, fulfilling life grounded in His love and truth. By speaking and aligning ourselves with God’s promises, we can activate faith and take meaningful steps toward fulfilling His calling.
Purpose Empowering Statements
A brilliant, powerful, love-driven Creator has made plans and purposes for His creation. That includes me.
Psalm 33:11 “But the plans of the Lord stand firm, forever; the purposes of his heart through all generations.”I have a holy calling from God Himself. My unique contributions will be in perfect alignment with God’s pillar purposes.
2 Timothy 1:9 “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before time began.”Knowing and living God’s plans comes out of a living relationship with Jesus, which is purpose and privilege #1.
John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father but by Me.”
John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”God wants me to succeed in the plans He made for me. He has already supplied everything I need in the spiritual realm and will release it as I follow Him. As I stay connected to Jesus, I can do everything God has called me to do.
2 Peter 1:3-4 “Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature…”To live God’s purposes is a combination of God’s grace and resources, together with my Jesus-trusting work and effort.
Colossians 1:29 “For this purpose I also labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”To fulfill God’s call will at times be easy and at times hard. I learn from mistakes and failures, adjust when needed, and keep going.
Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…”
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do; forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”God’s plans for my life are too big to accomplish on my own. I pray for and take steps to build my purpose team.
1 Corinthians 12:12 “For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.”I prayerfully plan my life and work. Prayer planning based on God’s pillar purposes gives me a flexible framework to follow.
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
Proverbs 21:5 “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”I adjust as needed and directed by Jesus. Many of God’s purposes are seasonal and come in seed form.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven — ”

Mark 11:22-24 “Have faith in God. Truly, truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him…”
Matthew 17:21 “But this kind does not go out except by fasting and prayer.”
Acts 13:2 “While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”I serve to live God’s purposes. God’s work is always done out of love with a servant’s attitude. Spiritual gifts, resources, and talents are tools to help others, not make me look good.

1 Peter 1:13a “Therefore, prepare your minds for action…”
My goal is to help busy believers experience God more deeply, grow consistently—both spiritually and personally—and confidently live out their unique purpose.
