Every home, building, vehicle, organization, book, and invention first existed in the unseen world of thoughts and ideas. Because people dream, we have solutions that improve lives, from transportation to communication, education to food distribution.
Dreams are the foundation of meaningful progress. Without a vision, little of significance ever happens. While plans and action are crucial, discovering how to find your purpose in life starts with an inspiring and compelling dream.

Let me be clear: God’s plan for your life is intentional, and He has placed specific dreams in your heart. You are here for multiple significant reasons, and the world needs you to pursue them.
I’ll be honest—I need you to be the best you can be, doing the best work you can do. And so do many others. We all have unique strengths. I may be a good strategist, writer, and coach, but I rely on others who excel in areas where I am weak.
The world needs great teachers, musicians, accountants, doctors, and leaders. If we want to make an impact, we must encourage as many people as possible to discover their God-given purpose and take action to fulfill it.
What we don’t need is mediocrity. No one wants a careless doctor or an uninspired financial advisor. Living a life of purpose begins with dreaming big and committing to excellence.
The Enemy Wants to Crush Your Dreams
The Apostle Peter quoted the prophet Joel, declaring that God gives visions and dreams. The Holy Spirit wants to reveal God’s plan for your life, but the enemy seeks to discourage or destroy those dreams.
If the enemy can crush your dream, he can block you from moving forward in the purposes of God. Instead of transforming the world with God’s love and power, we end up settling for less than we were meant to be.
“Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4
Use the spiritual weapons God has given you. Fight for the purpose-driven dream He has placed in your heart. Draw strength and wisdom from Him, and never let discouragement steal the vision He has given you.
